BRIAN LANDGREN NAMED PRESIDENT OF NORTHWEST GROUP
TAMPA, FL/SEATTLE, WA, Dec. 16/PR Newswire/--Global Imaging Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: GISX) announced today that Brian Landgren, 44, has been named President of the Northwest Group, a Global Imaging Systems core company. The NW Group is based in the Seattle suburb of Woodinville, WA.
"Since being named executive vice president of the Northwest Group in July, Brian has continued to demonstrate his operational, financial and managerial skills," commented Tom Johnson, chairman and CEO of Global Imaging Systems. "The Group is performing well under Brian's leadership, and we are fortunate to have an executive with Brian's experience directing this important Global core company."
Mr. Johnson added, "Brian was one of the first graduates of our Global Leadership Institute, an elite group of executive leaders who have demonstrated high aptitude for excelling in all disciplines of the business and industry, and he recently graduated from the community-based Leadership Institute Eastside in Washington."
Mr. Landgren joined the NW Group initially as chief financial officer and vice president. In 2001 he was promoted to chief operating officer for the group, and in July 2003 he was named executive vice president. Since joining Quality Business Systems in 1997, he has been recognized for his contribution in winning the coveted Chairman's Award in 1999 and 2000 and the President's Award in 2003 for Global Imaging's NW Group. Mr. Landgren was also named Global Leader in 1998 and was the recipient of the Administrative Manager of the Year Award in 1999.
Effective January 1, 2004, Brian will also serve on the board of Evergreen Healthcare Foundation. Brian has 17 years of industry experience, holding numerous executive management positions. Prior to joining the industry, Brian spent several years in public accounting. Brian holds a bachelor's degree in administration with a major in accounting from Wilmington College.
