NW GROUP PRESIDENT DUNN MOVES UP TO CORPORATE AS VP OF MARKETING; LANDGREN NAMED NW GROUP EXECUTIVE VP AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
TAMPA, FL / SEATTLE, WA, July 2/PR Newswire/--Teri Dunn, 44, president of the NW Group, a Woodinville-based core group of Global Imaging Systems, (Nasdaq: GISX) Tampa, FL, has been appointed to a new position as vice president of marketing at the parent company. Brian Landgren, 44, chief operating officer of the NW Group, moves up to executive vice president, assuming Mrs. Dunn's group responsibilities.
"Teri Dunn has led an innovative and very successful effort to help customers of our Northwest Group get their arms around their hard copy print expenses," commented Tom Johnson, president and CEO of Global Imaging Systems. "Now she takes on the challenge of heading a company-wide initiative to help Global customers across the country better manage their document output assets."
Mr. Johnson added, "At the same time, we are fortunate to have Brian Landgren's operational, financial and managerial experience to lead the NW Group management team as well as its largest company, Quality Business Systems. He was one of the first graduates of our Global Leadership Institute and recently graduated from the community-based Leadership Institute in Washington."
Mrs. Dunn held numerous management positions over a 19-year career with Pittsburgh-based AMCOM and was executive vice president when Global acquired AMCOM in 1996. While she was at AMCOM the company received the Global President`s Award and Mrs. Dunn achieved Global Leader recognition. She was also instrumental in the successful integration of two AMCOM acquisitions. After she moved to the Northwest Group, the group won Global's highest award, the Chairman's Trophy, and Mrs. Dunn received the "Global's Greatest" green jacket, the highest individual leadership recognition. In her new position, she will continue to be responsible for the Global Leadership Institute's sales and marketing module.
Throughout her business career, Mrs. Dunn has made outstanding contributions to the community. In 1998, she was selected a Top 50 business leader as a member of the Leadership Pittsburgh program. A long-time Rotary Club member and officer, she has also been honored for her contribution to a statewide fight against hunger. She is a regular guest lecturer at her alma mater, California University in Pennsylvania, which recently presented her with an alumni award for professional excellence.
Mr. Landgren joined the NW Group initially as chief financial officer and vice president. In 2001 he was promoted to chief operating officer for the group. He has been responsible for administration, financial and inventory management, facilities, service, network installation services and information technology. He has also been involved in acquisitions and the sales organization. He was recognized for his contributions to the Northwest Group in winning the Chairman's Award in 1999 and 2000 as well as the President's Award in 2003. He was named a Global Leader and has won the Administrative Manager of the Year Award. Mr. Landgren has 15 years of industry experience holding numerous executive management positions. He earned a BA with a major in accounting from Wilmington College.
