Remote Support

Thank you for choosing QBSI Remote IT Support!  Included in your support agreement (unless indentified as billable below) is a service provided to quickly and efficiently respond, diagnose and resolve network printing/scanning issues for our customers.  From our service desk at QBSI, our IT professionals provide support for your devices(s) by using a secure, non-repeatable remote log-in through a computer on your network.

When billable, QBSI Remote Support offers a more cost-effective and expeditious approach to problem resolution. 

Billable rates are as follows:
  • On-site technical support: $150 per hour including drive time.
  • Remote technical support: $50 per session No charge if the issue is not resolved (A remote support technician will make the determination whether to continue his/her efforts with the remote session or to dispatch an on-site technician.  In the event an on-site call is required, you will not be charged for the remote session however, the on-site rate will apply.)
Billable Scenarios:
Billable scenarios include, but are not exclusive to, the following:
  • IP Scheme changes
  • Changed servers
  • New scan location
  • Changed internet service provider
  • New computers
  • New passwords

You may end the remote session at anytime by clicking ‘file’ on the menu bar followed by ‘exit’.
